Copy files using the visual interface

BioData Catalyst powered by Seven Bridges has three file repositories including TCGA data and public reference files. To run an analysis on a file, the file must be copied to a project.

Accessing the file picker in a project

To access the file picker from a project:

1. Navigate to the project.
2. Click on the Files tab.
3. Click Add Files and select Public Files. Alternatively, you can also select Projects to copy files from one of your existing projects.

Copy files to a project

To add files to a project:

1. Select a file or a folder.
2. Click Copy and select the destination project.

3. (Optional) Tag your file(s).
4. Click Copy to confirm copying the file(s) to your project.
