Browse and add files to a project from a volume

Overview

Add files from a volume to a project from the Volumes dashboard or from within a project. Note that files become inaccessible if volumes are deactivated.

Add files from the Volumes dashboard

  1. From the main menu bar access Data > Volumes.
  2. Select a volume.
  3. Browse through the volume and any subfolders.
  4. Check the file(s) you wish to copy.
  5. Click Import to and select a project from the drop-down menu.
  6. (Optional) Tag your files with keywords.
  7. Click Copy.

Add files from a volume within a project

  1. Open your project's Files tab.
  2. Click Add files > Volumes.
  3. Browse through the volume and any subfolders.
  4. Check the file(s) you wish to copy.
  5. Click Import to Project.
  6. Select the target location within project files.
  7. (Optional) Tag your files with keywords.
  8. Click Copy.
