Annotation Explorer 0.2.0 BETA Released

To support researchers performing genome-wide association studies, Seven Bridges collaborated with the TOPMed Data Coordinating Center to develop the Annotation Explorer application. The Annotation Explorer enables users to interactively explore, query, and study characteristics of an inventory of annotations for the variants called in TOPMed studies.

We're now releasing version 0.2.0 BETA, and introducing the new Annotation Explorer versioning system. In line with that, the previously released version has been relabeled as 0.1.0 BETA, and the complete changelog is available in the Annotation Explorer public project description on BioData Catalyst powered by Seven Bridges.

The Annotation Explorer is currently implemented as an interactive analysis. It contains all of the required code to launch an interactive Shiny application with a visual interface which can be used to explore and query the TOPMed variant annotations.

Important notes

  • Daily quota for querying is set to 3TB. Daily quotas reset at midnight Pacific Time.
  • All interactive analyses can have Suspend time set on them. Suspend time is the period of inactivity after which the instance is stopped automatically and the analysis is saved.
