Pilot Funds approval now in place on BioData Catalyst powered by Seven Bridges
We have changed the registration flow for new users on BioData Catalyst powered by Seven Bridges. Approval process has been put in place, so newly registered users initially don’t have any cloud credits in their billing group. After registration, you can apply for Pilot Funds on the BioData Catalyst Cloud Credits page.
Data Overview now available for TOPMed datasets
BioDataCatalyst powered by Seven Bridges now offers a Data Overview page. The Data Overview page for TOPMed datasets (studies) provides genomic summary information for variants represented in Freeze 8 VCF files, on the GRCh38 reference genome. The page lists all TOPMed studies included in Freeze8, but you can only query variants in studies that contain open access genomic summary information. This allows you to learn about available datasets and whether the datasets will be valuable for your research, prior to applying for access on dbGaP.
To get access to the actual VCF files, access should be requested from the relevant authority.

GSEAPreranked Workflow performs Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA). It is generated with an assumption that a differential expression analysis has been done before using the DESeq2 tool which is publicly available the Platform. The GSEAPreranked Workflow consists of two tools, GSEA Input Prepare and GSEAPreranked. The GSEAPreranked tool represents a wrapper around the command-line tool that was developed by the BROAD Institute. The GSEA Input Prepare tool is based on the Python script developed by the Seven Bridges team to prepare the required input file formats for the GSEAPreranked tool.
